Custom Travel | 10 Days
  • Discover the exquisite artistic fusion of Hinduism and Buddhism in the palaces and temples of the Kathmandu Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site
  • Revel in immersive, insider opportunities, including meditating with monks, artisan studio visits, and traditional cooking classes
  • Gain behind-the-scenes access through American Himalayan Foundation to projects empowering Nepalese people
  • Uncover the well-preserved Tibetan culture of the remote and rarely-visited Mustang District
  • Settle into three singular properties: intricately-designed Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu, a garden-fringed Tiger Mountain Lodge Pokhara, and the groundbreaking Shinta Mani Mustang

A country packed with more of the planet’s highest peaks than anywhere else on earth, Nepal lures adventurers with its astonishing mountain scenery, yet its rich cultural traditions and UNESCO-listed architectural gems are equally compelling.

On this cultural journey to Nepal, become acquainted with the key sights of Kathmandu and dig deep into their significance with private visits to artisan studios and monasteries. Get a good dose of nature bathing in the outdoor splendors of Pokhara before journeying to the remote region of Mustang, where ancient Tibetan traditions are thriving. Here, well off-the-beaten path and in the shadow of one of the world’s tallest mountains, revel in the luxuries of a truly unparalleled property, where the service, cuisine, and conservation commitments are as epic as the mountain views outside your window.

Trip Overview

Was getting out of bed ever more dramatic? Drawing back the curtains in any of the hotel’s 29 rooms reveals floor-to-ceiling views of the Nilgiri mountain, its higher reaches covered with a mantle of snow and often encircled by clouds.
