Custom Travel | 12 Days
  • Explore off-the-radar remote villages, steeped in age-old traditions with strong community ties
  • Witness the contrasts and commonalities of Laos’ new capital, Vientiane, with its ancient one, Luang Prabang
  • Revel in the region’s stunning landscapes: tumbling waterfalls, rice fields, coffee and tea plantations, and lush protected forests
  • Uncover the serenity of river life along the Mekong and discover its 4,000-island riverine archipelago
  • Sample a variety of Laotian foods, from fresh produce and herbs to ubiquitous sticky rice and sticky sauce

Laos is one of Asia’s most unvisited and unchanged countries. On this carefully-curated trip, dive into the country’s even less-traveled and abundantly charming south.

Begin in the busting capital before departing on a scenic road trip toward the Bolaven Plateau. The area’s remarkable landscapes—lush green rice fields, limestone karst formation, and surging waterfalls—will quickly cast a spell. Equally spellbinding are the remote villages of this area that each have distinct cultures and color palates, yet are uniformly warm and welcoming. Complete your off-the-beaten-path Laos journey in Luang Prabang, a small, dream-like town on the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers.
