For the many of us who will never travel to the moon, Antarctica is an earthly alternative. An otherworldly landscape—frozen, bright, white—where pods of orcas and huddles of penguins bring the seas and ice to life. The dramatic landscapes that captivated early explorers—sparkling snow, towering ice cliffs, jagged nunataks—transport visitors as much to a foreign time as a foreign planet.
On this special Follow the Leader trip to Antarctica, journey alongside acclaimed travel writer, Don George, and a small group of GeoEx travelers. Gather in Chile, then fly to the White Continent where you spend four days exploring the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula from your state-of-the-art polar expedition ship, one of the newest and most sustainably focused vessels navigating Antarctic waters.
